Millennium FX occupies workshop facilities located on the outskirts of London in the Buckinghamshire market town of Chesham, which is 28 miles northwest of central London, 7 miles from J18 on the M25 and 9 miles from J8 on the M1.
Chesham has good road and rail links to central London as well as to all the main film studios in and around the capital.
The town is at the end of the Metropolitan line linking it to the tube network, and journey time from Chesham to Baker Street is approximately 45 minutes. The nearby stations of Amersham and Chalfont & Latimer offer a Chiltern Railways service to Marylebone which takes approximately half an hour, with both services stopping at stations throughout north-west London.
Chesham is also conveniently located for all the major airports: 22 miles from Luton, 24 miles from Heathrow, 58 miles from Gatwick, and 54 miles from Stansted. Both Heathrow and Luton airports are within 40 minutes drive of the workshop and many of our European clients choose to take advantage of this, by flying here and back comfortably in one day for meetings.
The workshop itself includes dedicated areas for moulding, casting, sculpture, painting, engineering and animatronics, as well as having separate make-up rooms.
In the past we have also been able to accommodate casting sessions, and the workshop has been used as a location for filming as well as a venue for make-up and costume testing. |
